While some news programming and internet outlets offer a great deal of news, entertainment news has been taking second place to other news. So, if one wants to find Michael Jackson News, one may want to look towards one of the online entertainment networks or entertainment television as one can most likely find a great deal of programming related to Michael Jackson, his life and times. Although, most recent news has highlighted more about the artists paying tribute to him than the singer himself.
Of course, with the recent anniversary of Michael’s sad and untimely passing, recent news has focused on the many stars which have broken down emotionally during performances at Michael’s memorial, or in a concert tribute to the singer. In fact, most recently a well known performer broke down into tears at a rewards show. Thus showing, how important a figure Michael had been to many others still alive today.
In other news, Michael’s mother Katherine is now planning on producing a series of movies in relation to Michael’s life, from birth through death. Apparently she is working with a man name Howard Mann, which is the co-author of her coffee table book, “Never Can Say Goodbye”. Therefore, Michael may have passed on but there is no doubt that we still have a lot more Michael to see, much of which we have never seen before.
However, unlike the film, the book will focus on Michael’s life from birth through death. As such, it is reported that Ms. Jackson is making a variety of home videos and photographs available to Mr. Mann for his work with her on the project. Such footage includes, but is not limited to, the time the Jackson family moved from Gary, Indiana to Los Angeles after the Jackson 5 record signing with Motown. In addition, it is believed that Mr. Mann has also requested footage from Michael’s business partner Marc Schaffel for an approximate twenty six hours of video footage which includes Michael Jackson.
Although, while this may be the first film project related to Michael’s life, it may only be the beginning. For, plans are that Katherine along with Howard are going to release a series of films in relation to the star’s life and times. Something, many others such as Dylan, Presley and others have also done over the years. However, in most cases, the stars were still alive to perform and sing in such films. Still, it is a great awakening to know one has not forgotten about Michael and that even in death, his legacy lives on in his music and potentially in this new series of films produced by his own mother.
Of course, one of the most noted and newsworthy of films related to Michael Jackson remains his most recent “This Is It, ” which was released after his death and shows a great deal of rehearsal footage from the concert he had been preparing for shortly before his death. Fortunately, the movie is now available on both BluRay and DVD so that all his fans have a chance to see it at some point time. For, now the only way to see Michael perform is going to be through his live audio and video recordings.
However, some great material can also be found online on popular audio and video related websites. One can often find full length concerts, outtakes or watch videos related to such performers. As such, one may want to assure one has the capability to stream such audio or video content or whether one has enough computer space to download such material where and when legally possible to do so. Regardless, if one is going to stream or download audio or video of any kind, one needs to assure such material is not under copyright or other laws which legally inhibit one from doing so.
Therefore, while one can no longer see Mr. Jackson live, one need always be grateful that he left such a legacy of music in both audio and video format behind. In addition, although the public has yet to see the video footage of his life as a child in the upcoming series of movies his mother is working on, one can see him as part of the Jackson 5 if one searches the group’s name on such a website. Also, if one has never been exposed to the Jackson 5, it is a good opportunity to see exactly where and how Michael’s career started, long before the tragic day in June 2009 when unfortunately due to Michael’s death, it came to an end.

Often when one thinks of Michael Jackson and hears the song “Dirty Diana”, one thinks of Diana Ross who assisted Micheal with his development and growth into a Superstar throughout his life until his tragic and untimely death in 2009. However, when it comes to this song, it is clear that Ms. Ross is not the Diana represented in the Dirty Diana Lyrics. This is because, the lyrics talk about a woman attempting to find fortune and fame, not one who had same long before Michael Jackson had even been born.
So, while it may be tempting to believe that Diana may in fact be Diana Ross, most likely Michael is singing about a fan who he became involved with, in which such relationship didn’t work out due to her overzealous behavior related not only to his stardom, but in the case of many other bands as well. In addition, the woman within the song, whether based in fact or fiction, is clearly a groupie. Therefore, the lyrics bring forth even more truth that the “Dirty Diana”, which Michael Jackson speaks of is a fan not a star.
In addition, while “Dirty Diana”, a song about a groupie has become famous over the years, one need realize that not all such behavior leads to songs being written about such individuals. In fact, in other cases, many have been convicted on stalking or other similar charges in such cases and have often faced or seen jail time in the process. Therefore, while it is good to be a fan of a band, becoming to overzealous with such behavior can often be a deterrent to true happiness, at least for some.
Also, as most such individuals are uncomfortable with such attention outside their performance venue, it is good to allow these individuals the space they both need and deserve. For, while it may look like being the limelight is fun, this is not always the case. To this end, it is good to give one the privacy one needs in such regard. Perhaps this is the intention in relation to the lyrics in the first half of “Dirty Diana”.
As to how one can see that the lyrics are in relation to either a factual or fictional groupie named “Dirty Diana”, one only has to read the line about “waiting at the backdoor stage”, to see this is the case. Whereas, in this case however, it is not about being a fan but rather wanting to be a star in exchange for sex as is seen by the line “I’ll Be Your Everything, If You Make Me A Star…”, which implies that Dirty Diana is only going to become involved with the star if he can make her one as well. A point which no one who has ever heard the song or seen a related video can deny.
So, whether or not Michael Jackson provided an invitation to a fan, whether factual or fictional, is not in question. What is, is the question of how one need handle such a situation should it arise in the future, whether one may be the fan or star. For, while stardom is one thing, blackmail and deceit are another even when one is offering sex as part of the bargain. Therefore, if such a star is feeling threatened in any way, one could easily have to pay large fine, serve jail time and in some cases, be branded for life.
Although, as most people know, it is not the talents in the bedroom that help one achieve true success, rather the talents outside that matter most. So, while one can definitely understand why Mr. Jackson may have desired to portray such behavior in a negative light. For, if not, other individuals similar to “Dirty Diana”, may often repeat such behaviors over and over, until a time such behavior is brought to light as being desperate and negative rather than fun-loving and sexy.
Finally, as to whether the Dirty Diana Lyrics were intentionally written to cause harm or pain remains unclear. What is clear however, is that listeners may want to think twice before becoming involved in providing such aggressive attention as one can often end up having to pay fines, face jail time or both. To this end, while it is good to be a fan of one’s favorite artists, musicians and other performers, one must also be careful when in the company of same. Otherwise, one’s actions may be interpreted than otherwise intended, which can often create stress within such friendships or relationships over time.

Pen cases are a necessary accessory if you like having fountain pens as opposed to biros. You need a way to flaunt your shiny fountain pens by having a nice home to store them.
You should start holding the pens in a case. Make sure this case is also easy on the eyes. Cases are aimed at safely housing the pens to avoid the ugly scratches that fade them.
You should consider keeping your pens in crafted pen cases. These apart from displaying good taste also help you preserve your precious pens.
Nice pen housings are available in the shape of boxes, easels, cylindrical and upright standing frames among other shapes. Out of these, the closed type cases will generally serve the purpose of safely storing your pen away from potential fading, scratches or loss. The other open type cases will serve to highlight the exquisiteness of the pens on display.
Triangular-shaped pen cases are a marvel that some Japanese companies have started swinging our way. These may be in form of smoked plastic cover or better still, Pen pillows, made from wood and Wajima urushi lacquer.
A good pen case is made of wood or leather but there are also some, which are made of shiny metals and glass just to improve on the aesthetics. For them to bring the aspect of elegance, the designer pen case can be put on the table where people will see.
Just the way you would not use a coke can to hold your pencils; a pen case is something that a true fountain pen lover will be careful to choose. One should get the most suitable one to suit your collection of pens.
Just to know how good it can get, there are those few who will have a leather penholder that has diamonds around it.
Pen cases are not only for the looks or for the sake of safekeeping your pens. They are also gifts, which you can give to people who matter. Try giving a penholder to somebody on a birthday.
In addition to pen sets, this author additionally frequently pens articles regarding runners rugs and the rug pad.

The story of carpet making starts with nomadic Asian tribes and their traditions. These were – many still are – self-sufficient nomads who lived off of raising animals such as sheep. They would travel hundreds of kilometers in search of pasture lands for these animals, who would become the nomads’ food, clothing, shelter, bedding, and fuel.
Some of their needs such as spices and luxuries like gold were bought thanks to the sale of animals and skins to city dwellers. And at some point in their history, they began selling their tribal rugs.
For the nomads, rugs have always served both a very utilitarian and symbolic purpose. Flat woven saddlebags on the backs of donkeys carry grains while other decorative pile woven carpets can serve as dowry for brides. Young girls are passed on the knowledge of carpet-making from their older sisters and relatives. Their small hands are best at making the thousands of small knots that make up the entire carpet, similar to the pixels of a digital photo.
The carpets are woven with help of a small guide aiding them to count out the number of knots of each color to tie per row of weft. These guides are made by carpet designers looking to sell the works. The really special carpets are made by brides themselves for their future homes. On the carpet a bride will lay out the history of the tribe, her thoughts, and wishes for the future of her family. Though men were the ones who created the history of a tribe by fighting or trading, the women are the ones who record the history of a tribe through weaving. These are the truly unique works of art that are most precious.
Selective breeding of the sheep has gives the tribes people with higher quality fibers (today wool from New Zealand and high-altitude areas is regarded as the best quality wool for carpets in the world, not counting Alpaca wool, too rare to use for carpets). The wool is hand spooled, then dyed using vegetables found nearby (today superior azo-dyes are used to complement these natural dyes) before being handed over for weaving purposes. Russian philosopher P. D. Ouspensky wrote the following after his mentor G. I. Gurdjieff told him of his travels in Asia: He spoke of the ancient customs connected with carpet making in certain parts of Asia; of a whole village working together at one carpet; of winter evenings when all the villagers, young and old, gather together in one large building and, dividing into groups, sit or stand on the floor in an order previously known and determined by tradition.
Each group then begins tits own work. Some pick stones and splinters out of the wool. Others beat out the wool with sticks. A third group combs the wool. The fourth spins. The fifth dyes the wool. The sixth or maybe the twenty-sixth weaves the actual carpet. Men, women, and children, old men and old women, all have their own traditional work. And all the work is done to the accompaniment of music and singing.
The women spinners with spindles in their hands dance a special dance as they work, and all the movements of all the people engaged in different work are like one movement in one and the same rhythm. Moreover each locality has its own special tune, its own special songs and dances, connected with carpet making from time immemorial.

The chat room has changed the nature of conversation. What used to be the natural flow of thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious, up through the lungs, over the tongue, and out the mouth, has now been expanded to occasionally include the fingers. This has consequences for the way we as humans view noise, voices, words, and even the very nature of communication itself.
In this new form of typed communication, reality is not quite as sturdy as it used to be. When you’re talking to someone face to face, you can see them, you know exactly who they are, where they are, and what they’re doing. If they want to make a nonverbal point they can use facial expressions or wave their arms.
In a chat or instant message application the rules of reality don’t exist. This can in many ways make it harder to communicate. In chat you can’t hear the inflection in their voice, see the expression on the other persons face, or even tell whether they are paying attention or not. They aren’t really there, no reality, you are talking into the void, and are answered only by the silence of words floating back at you from cyber space.
However this lack of reality actually gives you some leeway in communicating that you don’t get from a face to face interaction. In the void, with nothing but words and symbols to go by, you are completely free to write anything you like. Its like having a book, with you and your friends as the characters. You can type that you are sitting on a cloud, or battling a dragon, or anything you want, and without the restraints of reality to keep you grounded, there is no one to say you are wrong.
In most chat situations you will have some constraints. People wont believe you if you say your sitting on the moon. However depending on the creativity and imagination of the people you are talking to, this freedom from rationality may start to loosen over time.
One of the major results of this situation is that people are developing more of a symbolic understanding of the world than they ever have before. In any age before this one life was lived primarily in the 3d world of objects and people. Now more and more, people go online to a world that is as wide open as an empty book, and rather than finding the same stale characters that the writer placed their years before, they are finding other living humans, all of them rich and complex characters with histories and lives and the ability to respond.
This is causing people to grow up less grounded in reality. That is a fact which is both positive and negative. On the one hand these children are not learning to deal with the nuts and bolts of the real world as much. However it also means that they are growing up with a greater understanding of creativity, symbolism, and a fiercer passion for art than any generation before.

It’s funny that we desire to travel through time. Besides self-ish interest, what purpose would it serve? We are actually timetravelers all the time. Or should I say channel surfers?
We get carried away either by thinking about our past or piling up with dreams of the future. These two activities take most of our time. The actual now moment we are currently experiencing is something we would rather not like to have.
It’s far better and safer to sail in our dreams, where all the outcomes are already known and we can speculate with endless what-if scenarios.
The future is even better. For us it has not happened yet and, therefore, we can make it up any way we desire. Well, almost. The only limitation is that we cannot just dream about anything of which we have no knowledge.
For example, in medieval times people did not dream about having cars and flying around the world in airplanes. So dreaming is also quite boring. All the outcomes are predictable in one way or another-like LEGO blocks that can only be set up in a certain way based on their shapes.
Our channel surfing concerns the current living moment. We seldom stay in the channel. We’d rather jump on and off many times in a second. This happens by switching either to the dream or the history channel. Reality TV is something we prefer to consume as a recorded version, just to be on the safe side.
Still, all the action happens in the reality mode. We cannot change our history and cannot predict the future. We have to do all the things right now. The paradox is that the only unpredictable (and therefore nonboring) moment is the fresh now time, what we are all the time experiencing.

This isn’t exactly the best time to reinvent oneself in journalism. If newspapers aren’t dying, they’re very sick and doctors aren’t sure what to prescribe.
That didn’t stop me from quitting my job at a metropolitan newspaper and traveling across the country for the chance to start a family and buy an affordable home.
Priorities are priorities, but I feared giving up doing what I love for a living – writing movie reviews and entertainment features. . Thanks to the Web and some creative thinking, that hasn’t happened – yet. Since moving to Colorado I’ve been able to continue my movie reviews but in a freelance capacity. The adjustment to being my own boss has been enlightening. My commute entails shuffling from the bedroom to my office, with no reason to check shadow traffic reports for fender benders or overturned trailers. Nice.
But the amount of rejection I face each day makes me long for the security of a regular gig. That’s where the Internet came in. I decided to create my own Web site, attempt to brand myself and see where that might take me. I know less than zero about HTML – heck, I didn’t know it was now referred to as XHTML, and I had never heard about CSS either.
I began the site on a blogger platform, but I soon changed it to have my own domain name. Today,it receives a modest amount of visitors, and every time I pitch a story I direct the editor to my home on the Web for further details. Blogging on a daily basis also makes me a sharper writer, or at least one who can pound out paragraphs at a steady clip. That efficiency will serve me well someday, I bet.
In a year, I might be writing press releases for some faceless think tank, or correcting grammatical errors for a local company’s human resource division. I’ll probably double my salary in the process, but if I juggle my web efforts just right I can avoid that fate.

When you choose to take a piece of literature and expand upon it, either through roleplaying, or through some form of fan fiction, there are a number of choices that you have to make. First and foremost is, will you stick to the logical and chronological timeline that was laid out in the book? If you choose to follow the chronology of the book you can either choose to replay something that was written, simply mirroring what is in the story, or you can fill in gaps that the story doesn’t cover, such as time periods which were glossed over, or events which were not described in great detail.
On the other hand you can always choose to create a completely new derivative. You can make Harry Potter turn evil, or can have Hermione get a crush on Snape, or any of an infinite number of changes that you can make, to explore the “what ifs” of the story.
Another choice you have to make is time. A series such as Harry Potter stretches out over 8 years, and you can set your own derivative adventures during any of those years, or even before or after the events in the book.
Finally, you have to make choices about characters. You have the whole universe of Harry Potter characters open to you, but you have to understand their relationships, their connections, and how they react and interact with one another. This will all also be determined to some extent by the time period that your story is taking place in.
One of the things that can make a decent Harry Potter roleplaying session so difficult is that the book series is quite long and detailed, with literally hundreds of characters popping up at various points throughout. On the one hand this gives you a lot of room for creativity. On the other hand it also gives you a lot of room to make mistakes, and to forget important details.
This article was written by Jim Slate on behalf of http://www.RolePages.com – a fictional social network where you can sign up and engage in roleplaying as Harry Potter, Dumbledore, Hermione, Ron, or even as your own new character such as a vampire, a demon, a centaur, or a dragon.

Slate and Artstone – I met this one at an elegant and formal party. I had slipped into silk, he was dressed in something more complex.
I long ago lost the need to feed, so now I feed my faded lust. He was pretty, and haughty, just the way I like them.
It did not take long to make her leave his side. One thing leads to another, which leads to another which causes this one to fall, which makes that one back up, which cases the table to shake, the cup to spill, the dress to stain.
And she’s off in a huff, not a terribly attractive way to make an exit. Plenty of room for me to slide in
Men believe anything when their hard. The first part was easy, the second was easier. Before he knew it we were walking out back, innocent enough.
I never make the first move. I don’t have to. All I have to do is wiggle the worm, present it out there, ripe and juicy.
He was a good roll, not that I feel it anymore. At least in that lust I got to take a sip of his soul, that is always sweet ecstasy. Of course that’s not why I do it.
The look on her face was even better. Everyone had seen us wander out back. I know how to be conspicuous when I want to be, and every man and woman’s eyes were on me, even as were his own, glued, locked onto me. It was a simple thing for her to ask around
and to be answered
out back…
with some woman…
But she was only gone a minute!
And then, stained, soiled, and sundered, humiliation and rage, pain, sorrow, loss, the air rushes from her lungs, the blood from her heart.
I nudge him, even as I rise, magnificent in my naked splendor. I want her to see me, to see not only what has been taken, but also that which took it, to know that I am better
Then I take my leave, and even as I go, I can feel the glow rising from them. A real, true moment, an instant of perfection, locked forever in time, crafted by my design

Many see writing articles as a nuisance. I happen to disagree with this belief. I think that article writing can be one of the most fun and rewarding activities there is.
Some people simply don’t know what to write about and their mind draws a blank when they’re called to the task. I know the frustrations about this, but there are ways around it.
While it always requires a bit of hard work, the process of writing articles can be made much easier by applying a few basic rules. Keep some of the things I’m about to discuss in mind and you’ll do well.
People enjoy reading articles with lists, and writing them is one of the easier ways to write an easy read. This way, you’ll know the items that made your list (i.e. a top ten list) and you’ll have an easy time writing a paragraph or two about each.
Telling a story may also be an effective means of writing articles. Don’t be shy about interjecting your own personal experiences, in addition to your personality. People love reading stories in general, and they’re generally more entertaining than articles that are purely factual. A little personality never hurts.
Sometimes I’ll challenge myself to finish a number of articles in a given time period. Not only does this keep me concentrating on the task at hand, but it becomes more fun when I’m trying to set new personal bests.
I like to treat myself to little rewards when I’m done writing for the day. If I know that I have to write five articles in one sitting, I’ll take myself out for ice cream when I’m done, or I’ll take a break from my work to watch my favorite TV show.
Lastly, I’d recommend that you work to improve your typing speed and skills. This will go a very long way toward improving your overall efficiency. In typing quickly, I find that I can write an article in half the time that most people can.
This writer blogs about many other topics, including AC covers and portable air conditioning units.

There are few things that sound as great as a song with a talented female vocalist. This applies to nearly all genres of music, and female singers are responsible for some of the most successful songs in music history. The last 15 years have seen even more emerge, and the movement continues to gain steam.
This paved the way for the indie rock movement of the last decade, which is still going strong as we enter a new decade. Much of the success of this movement can be attributed to some great, innovative female vocalists whose music shines, largely in part to their incredibly pleasant voices.
This article is going to focus on a few of the biggest female talents in indie rock music today, with their vocals being the deciding factor in who makes the list. While there are dozens I could easily list here, I’m going to limit this article to my favorite four.
First, I’d like to mention Regina Spektor. I’m in a coffee house as I write this, and her music is playing. This in fact inspired me to write this article.
Her voice is believed my many to be one of the best in music today, and some exceptional songs over the last few years have showcased her raw talent.
Another great vocalist in female music is Cat Power. Her real name is Chan Marshall, and she’s been making great music for about a decade now. With so many songs on her resume, both original and covers, her laid back style of blues music is one of the best in the indie world.
A newer arrival to the scene is Sharon Jones. While she’s not so new in the music world, this 50 something singer is certainly new to the indie scene. Having partnered up with the Dap Kings, this unique combination of musicians has some great Motown type music to show for it.
Lastly, Shara Worden, who produces music under the “My Brightest Diamond” moniker, may very well be the best of these. Listen to her cover of “Feeling Good” for affirmation of this.

From the start of the civilization, writing styles have been greatly developed, including tools and materials. During the prehistoric period, stones and sticks were used as tools to clay tablets for cave paintings. And there were reed pens for writing on papyrus, quill pens for parchment, which are similar to metal pens and ball pens in nowadays.
Young people today seldom use the old writing styles. However, they would still produce Maori Rock Drawings which can be made well on small copper circles or copper enamel ash trays.
Nowadays, the art of calligraphy is commonly incorporated in advertising and designing. With the creativity of our modern artists, calligraphy is no longer seen only on papers, but also on other surfaces like fabrics, glass, ceramics, etc. 3D-designs are another commonly used technique as well.
As modern artists are often exposed to a more diverse world than the artists in the previous decades, the rich personal experience of modern calligraphers can often give them great inspiration. With this creativity, the art of calligraphy is brought to a new height and sees no boundaries.
Calligraphy appears on both functional hand lettered inscriptions and fine art designs. On these designs, the clarity of the letters are replaced by abstract handwritten marks which are difficult to read.
Besides those artworks that you might only be able to see in exhibitions, the art of calligraphy can be found in our daily lives as well. For examples, calligraphy often plays a very important role in making invitation cards for different events and making other memorial documents. Advertising and graphic designing utilizes calligraphy a lot as well.
Literally, calligraphy means beautiful writing. It was the method to produce a book in 500 yeas ago, when the invention of the printing press wasn’t developed. Each copy of the reading materials was handwritten by scribe working in a scriptorium. Quill and ink were used to write on materials like vellum and parchment.
There are three main types of calligraphy in today’s society, that’s the Western or Roman, Arabic and Chinese or Oriental.
